Otakon 2010 in Baltimore was amazing! I came in pretty late Thursday, so wasn’t able to make it to the Thursday pre-registration line. I did get a few wonderful drinks at the Pratt Street Alehouse before last call though. The weather early Friday morning was hot but not humid, so the one and a half hour wait at the pre-reg line wasn’t too bad. Lots of amazing cosplay to be seen. Well I’m off to Otakon 2010 and I’m definitely looking forward to this convention, especially the two musical guests coming: Yoshida Brothers and Home Made Kazoku!
The second gallery for Anime North 2010 is complete. By the way all pictures can be downloaded by clicking the link ‘Downloadable Image’ in the gallery. This opens a larger size version of the image. Right-clicking on the image will give you the option to save the file. The photos were taken May 29-30, Saturday afternoon to Sunday afternoon.
I again had the chance to go to Anime North this year, and was able to take a lot of pictures. This was the first time I’ve taken all the photos in raw format. The format is great for tweaking and bringing out what I want from a particular picture, but all that mostly manual post-processing probably tripled my workflow. The pictures in the gallery below were taken May 28-29, Friday afternoon to early Saturday afternoon.
