These are the last of the photos from Anime North 2012. The convention was pretty good, the weather wasn’t too bad and was able to meet up with a few friends. Also had a chance to really test out the ringflash modifier. One thing I learned is I definitely need to use a stronger ND filter next time. For pretty much all my outdoor shots, the flash had to use high speed sync – which barely did a decent job as fill. Also, I just wanted to thank J-rock North Promotions http://j-rocknorth.com/ for providing a couple of media passes!

Cosplay photos from early Sunday to about noon.

Photos during the Saturday concerts – Adapter, Marlee, and Lix. Also some photos of the artists on Sunday.
A photoshoot with cosplayers from Yumekui Meri
A photoshoot with Black Rock Shooter cosplayers.
These are the rest of the snaphots taken on Saturday.

Another quick photoshoot, this time with three Tiger and Bunny cosplayers – Dragon Kid, Blue Rose and Origami Cyclone.
A photohoot with cosplay of Minerva from Final Fantasy. One of the largest costumes I’ve seen!
Snapshots taken Saturday morning.
A cosplay of Ashe aka Ashelia B’nargin Dalmasca (I had to look this one up!) in her wedding dress. For lighting I used a softbox on a lightstand and the Orbis as a fill.
