Some of the pictures I took of the life-sized Gundam RX 78 that was temporarily setup in the Odaiba area of Tokyo. It was quite an amazing sight. The level of detail was impressive. It also gave one a true sense of scale of just how big these mechs are supposed to be. Pictures are in this post’s album.

Like previous years, this was located in the downtown Toronto convention centre. Pictures of Star Wars cosplayers and even an awesome cosplayer dressed as Rainbow Brite are in the album below.
The convention was located in downtown Toronto, August 24-26. Yasuhiro Nightow, the famed creator of “Trigun”, made an appearance. Pictures of the event are available in the album below – including an amazing group dressed as the characters from the 90′s CG show “Reboot”.
The convention was scheduled between May 22-24 2009. No musical guests this time, but instead there was a concert featuring voice actors and seiyuu. Pictures are in the album below.
This took place May 23-25 2008. Otaku favourite Haluko Momoi made an appearance. I have no pictures of her though, but pictures of cosplayers and other events are in the gallery below.
The convention took place on May 25-27 2007 in Toronto. One of the highlights was a concert by the J-pop band ZZ. Some of their famous songs are “Samurai Blue” the official Japanese song for the 2006 World Cup and “Dang Dang” an opening song for the anime “Eyeshield 21″.
