Some of the pictures I took of the life-sized Gundam RX 78 that was temporarily setup in the Odaiba area of Tokyo. It was quite an amazing sight. The level of detail was impressive. It also gave one a true sense of scale of just how big these mechs are supposed to be. Pictures are in this post’s album.

The convention was located in downtown Toronto, August 24-26. Yasuhiro Nightow, the famed creator of “Trigun”, made an appearance. Pictures of the event are available in the album below – including an amazing group dressed as the characters from the 90′s CG show “Reboot”.

The convention took place on May 25-27 2007 in Toronto. One of the highlights was a concert by the J-pop band ZZ. Some of their famous songs are “Samurai Blue” the official Japanese song for the 2006 World Cup and “Dang Dang” an opening song for the anime “Eyeshield 21″.
