Last time I saw this Gundam was about 2 and half years ago. After being moved to Shizuoka, it’s back in Odaiba. This time with slighty different markings. Although the RX-78 is more or less fully assembled, the location was still under contruction when I took the photos. I believe a mini Gundam theme park is planned for the location.

I’ll be heading back to Japan for a short vacation. This time around I plan on doing more day trips from Tokyo, including a visit to Sendai, Matsumoto and a retrun trip to Nikko. Hopefully if the weather is good and there is no Air Canada strike, I’ll be back just in time for Con-G 2012. For any cosplayers attending Con-G send me a message if you are interested in collaborating for a quick photoshoot. I’ll be there all Saturday, but leaving early Sunday.
